Think Pink: A Moment of Encouragement for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Oct 1
2 min read

Every October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month reminds us of the millions of people whose lives have been touched by breast cancer — those facing a diagnosis, those undergoing treatment, survivors, families, friends, caregivers, and those we remember.

The pink ribbon has become a familiar symbol during October. But behind that ribbon are real people experiencing uncertainty, courage, fear, hope, and determination.

Sometimes, a little encouragement matters.

More Than Wearing Pink

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity to show support in many different ways.

Wear pink. Participate in a local event. Support breast cancer research. Check in on someone going through treatment. Encourage the people you care about to stay informed about their health.

And sometimes, simply being there for someone can mean more than we realize.

Finding a Quiet Moment

Going through difficult times can make it hard to switch off the thoughts running through your mind.

That's one of the ideas behind our Think Pink Number Search Puzzles.

The book combines number-search puzzles with messages of hope, strength, courage, and perseverance. It isn't intended to provide answers to what someone is going through. Instead, the puzzles offer something much simpler: a screen-free activity and an opportunity to focus your attention on something else for a little while.

As we say in the book:

“Remember, this book is not a cure, but it is a companion on your journey.”

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Keep the Conversation Going

October may be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but breast cancer doesn't disappear when October ends.

Awareness, research, early detection, treatment, encouragement, and support matter year-round.

Whether you're fighting breast cancer yourself, supporting someone you love, or simply taking time this October to recognize those affected by it, Think Pink.

And keep hope alive.
